Amber Collingwood is the Senior Research Manager for the UK MND Research Institute and has worked in research management and governance at King’s College London for 9 years.

Amber has extensive experience of setting-up and delivering numerous programmes of clinical research in the UK and internationally. Previously, Amber was the Research & Development Manager for a busy R&D office in the NHS.

After graduating in 2010 with a BA in Anthropology from Goldsmiths College, University of London, Amber has maintained an interest in social, economic and political aspects of clinical research, specifically clinical research ethics. She has obtained a Masters’ degree in Bioethics and Society from the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine at King’s College London.

Amber possesses core expertise in clinical research governance and ethics from almost 10 years as a committee member and alternate vice chair for the National Research Ethics Service; research project management, and patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE).
